We are seeking dedicated and vigilant Security Officers to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients, employees, and visitors. This role requires a proactive individual who can effectively manage conflicts, prevent losses, and respond to emergencies with confidence and professionalism. Events are throughout the summer in Detroit, Pontiac, Royal Oak, Toledo, etc. Transportation will be provided to event sites from our Taylor office for non-local events.

Duties

• Events in Metro Detroit and surrounding areas
• Monitor and patrol designated areas to ensure safety and security.
• Conduct regular inspections of premises and equipment to identify potential security risks.
• Crowd control
• Gate check points (includes wanding people, bag checks, and pat downs)
• Enforce rules and regulations while maintaining a professional demeanor in all interactions.
• Collaborate with law enforcement agencies as needed during incidents or investigations.
• Engage in conflict management techniques to de-escalate situations effectively.

Skills

• Strong conflict management abilities to handle disputes calmly and effectively.
• Knowledge of loss prevention strategies to minimize theft or damage.
